How to change your cPanel password?

You can change cPanel password in one of the following given ways.

#1. Changing password from cPanel 

  • Log into the cPanel.
  • Navigate to the PREFERENCES section, and click over Password & Security option.
  • Type existing password in the Old Password box.
  • Type the New Password and confirm it.
  • Click over Change your password now! to change the password from cPanel.

#2. Change cPanel Password from Login Page

  • Go to your cPanel login page. (www.domain.com:2083 or www.domain.com/cpanel)
  • Click on Reset Password.
  • Enter your cPanel username, and click Reset Password button.
  • Enter the email address registered with your cPanel account and hit the Send Security Code button.
  • Open your registered mail account and copy the security code.
  • Paste the security code, and click the Submit button.
  • Set a new cPanel password and finish.

#3. Change cPanel Password from Client Area

  • Log into your Web Hosting Client Area.
  • Navigate to your active services section.
  • Click on the domain you want to perform the task.
  • On the middle-left corner, you’ll be able to see the Change Password button. Click on that.
  • Type and confirm the new password and click over Save Changes button. This will immediately change your cPanel password.
